The evening before their wedding date, Taylor and Jason looked toward the sky with anxiety as rain clouds moved in to the area. But the rain didn’t slow these soon-to-be newlyweds down – with grace and enthusiasm, we collectively decided to “play it safe” and move the ceremony (originally scheduled for the open-air back terrace of the Westshore Yacht Club to the covered front terrace using the sites beautiful wooden-door archway as the backdrop. Here, the beautiful couple sealed their vows with a kiss just as the skies opened up and a gentle rain promised new beginnings for their wedded life together.
After the ceremony, guests were escorted to the swanky bar located on the venue’s second floor where they enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Modifications to the original outdoor draping plan allowed us to create a dramatic, luscious backrop complete with crystal strands in the ballroom where intense purple up-light set the mood.
